The intro - the colors! - Oh, oh oh....

Postby davepanas » Thu Jun 03, 2004 9:39 pm

Hey Steve -
I really ought to just e-m you, but I'm still learning my way around this site.

Anyway - in your site intro - please - the red words against the gray (ey?) background just don't work. At least not for me w/ my eyes.

Yeah, I know - older, jaundiced, semi-blind, etc..... 8)

I think I got it fixed, Dave.

I bought a pair of bifocals for Dino-boy. Let me know if you need a stronger prescription . . .

Actually, I couldn't read that either. It showed up fine at first, but the background color was changed in an effort to make the site not look like those other racing folks and the red text no longer showed up as well on gray as it did on black.

I never noticed on my machine because I have a very high end CAD workstation, and the brightness is turned way down and the contrast way up. In any case, after your message this morning I went and checked it. The moment I saw it on a "normal" computer it was unreadable. I made all text bolder and changed the red to light blue.

But keep the eyeglasses anyway as a free gift!
